Four new imported cases have been identified in Shanghai COVID-19


In Shanghai, over the past day, four new imported cases of COVID-19 and not a single local were identified, Xinhua News Agency reported on September 7. According to the municipal health commission, all four cases are Chinese citizens who arrived in the city through Pudong International Airport from Ecuador, the USA, the Philippines and Singapore last week. All patients were transferred to a special hospital for treatment. A total of 150 people who were in close contact with the patients were taken under medical supervision. A total of 580 confirmed imports and 342 local cases of dangerous infection have been recorded in Shanghai since the beginning of the epidemic.
