The governor of Wisconsin asked Trump to refuse to travel to Kenosha
An urgent request to cancel the trip to the city of Kenoshu was addressed to US President Donald Trump by the governor of the US state of Wisconsin, Tony Evers. The text of the letter was published on August 31 by the Axios information portal. In his address to the American leader, Evers respectfully asked Trump to refuse to travel to the city of Kenoshu. The governor of Wisconsin expressed fears that the arrival of the head of state could slow down the efforts of local authorities to resolve disagreements in the city. Evers explained that to ensure the arrival and stay of the US president in Kenosha, local authorities will have to attract the resources necessary for the restoration of the city. This will prevent the communities of the city from moving forward in order to overcome the situation with riots. Earlier, the news agency reported that US President Trump did not rule out the possibility of his arrival in the riot city of Kenoshu.
