In Japan, a flying car with a pilot on board was tested

Successful tests were passed by a flying car with a pilot on board, developed by the Japanese company SkyDrive. This was announced on August 29 in an interview with the Associated Press (AP) project manager Tomohiro Fukuzawa. A flying car SD-03 with a pilot on board lasted in the air at an altitude of about two meters for four minutes. The device can be in the air for only about five minutes, its speed is several km/h. The company is working on increasing the speed and time of flight of the car. The development of projects for such cars is carried out by several countries of the world at once, but the SkyDrive project is currently the most successful. This type of transport does not require special platforms for take-off and landing, and in the future it is planned to be made completely autonomous, the owner will be able to control it without a pilot license. The company SkyDrive received funding from the Toyota automobile concern and plans to develop and produce the first commercial double car by 2023. Earlier, the news agency reported on the law on flying cars, which was adopted by the authorities of the US state of New Hampshire. The law will only begin to apply after the appearance of such cars on sale.
