In Poland, on June 27, a regime of silence came before the next presidential election, which will be held on Sunday June 28, and during which any form of direct or indirect campaigning for candidates is prohibited. The legislative ban, which applies before the closure of polling stations on the evening of June 28, also includes conducting sociological surveys, publishing candidate ratings and discussing their political programs. According to the State Election Commission (GIC), very large fines are provided for violating the silence regime, reaching one million zlotys. If during the period of election silence this survey is already a crime, and the punishment can reach the amount of one million zlotys (about $300 thousand), the head of the GIK Sylvester Marchinyak during a press conference on June 26. Recall that 11 candidates are fighting for the presidency of Poland, including the incumbent president of Poland Andrzej Duda, who is running for a second term. According to the news agency, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki signed a decree introducing a state of emergency of the second degree, the so-called Bravo-CRP, throughout the country to counter cyber threats during the presidential election.
