An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 occurred in the territory of Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan, according to the Japanese meteorological agency. It is reported that the center of the seismic event lay at a depth of 50 kilometers. Residents of four districts of the prefecture felt tremors, reaching an intensity of up to seven points. Nevertheless, the threat of a tsunami was not announced. There was also no information about the victims. According to the news agency, on September 26, an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in Japan. Its epicenter was 181 kilometers from the city of Shimoda at a depth of 118.83 kilometers. There were no casualties.
