In Peru, the number of deaths from COVID-19 exceeded 20 thousand

The number of deaths from complications associated with COVID-19 disease in Peru has increased to 20,007, according to the website of the Peruvian Ministry of Health. Per day in the country because of this disease 196 patients died and 6790 new cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus are recorded. In total, 439,890 such facts were confirmed in Peru. At the same time, 302,457 people recovered and 2,417,857 tests for coronavirus infection were carried out. According to the news agency, on August 4, according to WHO, 4278 deaths from COVID-19 were recorded in the world per day.
