Kozak demanded specifics from Kiev on the Minsk agreements

Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak said that official Kiev at the highest level should confirm or refute the words of its representative in the Contact Group in Minsk about the need to revise the Minsk agreements, or this will mean the refusal of Ukraine from all agreements and from negotiations on Donbass. Kozak told reporters today, July 10. Recall that the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Delegation Alexei Reznikov said that the Minsk Agreements are outdated and should be changed. Kozak emphasized that in Moscow they do not cease to wonder with what enviable constancy the representatives of the Ukrainian authorities with an official status make various kinds of statements that contradict each other or are subsequently refuted. Though in ours and in the standard understanding in the world any public statements of the Deputy Prime Minister, minister, other officials it is also an official position of the state, Kozak noted. He further said that if in the very near future this statement is confirmed or is not refuted now by the Prime Minister or the President of Ukraine, then this really means Ukraine's withdrawal from the Minsk agreements. So, there will be no more Minsk and Norman formats for negotiations to resolve the conflict in the Donbass. This also means that the President of Ukraine will have to disavow his signature six months ago under the final communiqué of the Paris summit on December 9, 2019, Kozak added.
