In Abkhazia, over the past 24 hours, one patient with COVID-19 died. This was announced on July 26 by the operational headquarters for the protection of the population of the republic from coronavirus. The report says that the tragedy occurred in the Gudauta Central District Hospital. A patient who had previously contracted SARS-CoV-2 was treated with chronic cardiological disease. Despite the best efforts of doctors, the patient failed to save his life. It is noted that the total number of cases of coronavirus infection detected in Abkhazia today is 55, with 37 cured of COVID-19. According to the news agency, on July 26, the press service of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection of Moldova reported that Moldovan doctors assess the condition of 414 patients infected with coronavirus as serious (29 of them are connected to ventilators).
