Hyundai Motor exported ten hydrogen trucks to Switzerland
The South Korean automotive company Hyundai Motor exported 34-ton hydrogen trucks to Switzerland. It is reported by KBS with reference to representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea. According to them, the first ten cars went to Switzerland from the port of Kwanyan on July 6. By 2025, Hyundai Motor intends to export 1,600 units of equipment to Switzerland. It is known that these hydrogen trucks were developed with the support of the South Korean government. 90.6 billion won (~ $75.9 million) was invested in the development of components. It is noted that in the next five years, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy intends to allocate about 100 billion won (~ $83.8 million) to increase the competitiveness of South Korean companies in the global hydrogen car market.
