Brent oil price drops below $30 for first time since January 2016

The price of the North Sea Brent oil mix fell below $30 per barrel. This is evidenced by the data of trades on Monday, March 16. As of 16:30 Moscow time, the value of Brent futures delivered in May on the ICE stock exchange in London fell by 12.7% to $29.52 per barrel. The last time the price of oil of this brand was at this level in January 2016.
